About Clover Garden

Clover (Trifolium species) is an important forage legume widely cultivated in temperate regions of the world. Clover Garden is a database that provides an easy way of accessing the information on the genomes of Trifolium and on the genomic resources useful for genetics and genomics in Trifolium and other legume species.

Clover Garden has been developed by Yasukazu Nakamura, Mitsuyo Kohara, Sachiko Isobe and Satoshi Tabata. The original work on red clover was performed using plant materials supplied by All-Russian Williams Fodder Crop Research Institute, Russia, and was supported by the Kazusa DNA Research Institute Foundation and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries with the cooperation of the Rice Genome Research Program.
